TheoEco's Nepal 2020 New Year Trek

Feeling adventurous? Got some time in January when the weather in Kathmandu features highs in the 70’s and not a cloud in the sky? Then consider meeting TheoEco in Kathmandu on our New Year Trek in support of Nepal Project 2020!

Beginning January 14, 2020 TheoEco’s Steve and Bobbie Richards are heading back for the five-year anniversary of the 2015 mega-quakes. Trek with us to Kathmandu, the Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, the Himalayas, and more.

​We will be working closely with the Christians in Nepal and the National Theological College and can provide opportunities for volunteers to offer their much-needed skills and experience. This trip is for those who want to experience Nepal. It is also for those who want to help by sharing their skills and resources, deliver gifts like children’s school clothes and laptops, assist in our documentary productions, teach a class at the National Theological College, sponsor programs and shoots, the list goes on.

The primary purpose of our trek is to produce the documentaries of Nepal Project 2020:, work with our partners, and further the institutional relationships we have built. The documentaries include:

• Piles of Bricks (Revisited) – A film about the 2015 earthquake rebuilding efforts
• Nepal’s Water – A film about the water situation in land-locked Nepal from ecological, economic, and theological perspectives

Not only will participants get to know the individuals and organizations we work with, but also support the Nepali economy and our partners.
