So FLo FLoods Competition Award Streaming Event For Students of Beach High - Panel Announcements

​It’s almost here!

On Friday, May 29th at 2:30 in the afternoon we will be celebrating the excellent entries from Miami Beach High students to the So Flo Floods competition.

We are very excited to announce several “stars” from the film will be available for the Q&A after the screening of the new 56-minute version:

• Professor Harold Wanless – University of Miami’s foremost scientist on sea level rise
• Professor Richard Weisskoff – University of Miami’s environmental economist and researcher
• Jacqui Thurlow-Lippisch – South Florida Water Management District Governing Board Member and activist
• Steve and Bobbie Richards – Producer/Director

We are also excited to have these luminaries as well:

• Dr. Maria Rodriguez – Principal of Miami Beach Senior High
• Wendy Guzman – AP Biology teacher and TheoEco liaison for Beach High
• Beulah “Boots” Richards – Executive Pass Coordinator for the Council for Educational Change
• Jay Abramowitz – Award sponsor/presenter, Miami Beach businessman and waterfront homeowner
