So Flo Floods, a feature-length documentary, tells the story of flooding in South Florida—flooding that has happened in the past, is happening now, and will continue to happen in the future. It has been a full year since the initial screening at University of Miami and we have been very busy re-shooting and editing. To see the film’s trailer click below... So Flo Floods is a film very close to our hearts as both the producers (Steve and Bobbie Richards) grew up in Miami and Miami Beach. But in the making of the film we realized that South Florida is much bigger than just Miami. It stretches to the west coast of Florida and as far north as Palm Beach and Stuart. It includes South Beach’s art deco hotels and So Flo’s ubiquitous suburban sprawl. It includes beautiful beaches and the Everglades’ wilderness. The risk to the entire area is total and the interest in our area is international.
