We are preparing for the Kendall premiere of So Flo Floods on Wednesday, August 7th, at 5:30 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal (Anglican) Church, in conjunction with the Ladies of St. Luke's who will be preparing a lovely tea for all. Suggested contributions are $10 which go in equal measure to support St. Luke’s and TheoEco Institute. So Flo Floods is the new feature documentary film from TheoEco about how flooding and sea level rise are affecting South Florida--past, present, and future. To see the film’s trailer click here. And you can keep up with all we are doing at www.SoFloFloods.com and on our Facebook page: @SoFloFloods.
We are excited to get So Flo Floods in venues that enable as many of our neighbors in South Florida to see the film and learn more about their environment’s flooding tendencies, and all that goes, has gone, and will continue to go into managing the water. To that end we plan to show the film wherever–and whenever–we can. This includes churches like St. Luke’s, schools like Miami Beach Senior High, and theaters like the Miami Beach Cinematheque where we premiered this past Father’s Day. Come and join us on Wednesday, August 7th in Kendall for a screening of So Flo Floods and tea. For more, click here.
