Become a co-host and participate in the Economics in the Gospels virtual study group with your group and others internationally via Zoom and Facebook Live AND receive 30% back to your organization.
- Just select "Become a Co-Host" on the Registration Page.
- A customized registration page will then be created for individuals to register with their group’s page online.
- Alternatively, each co-host can simply provide a list of their participants and pay as a group. Just use the form on the Contact page to let us know and we'll get back to you ASAP.
- Individuals can join via their co-host's link to generate a 30% fundraising gift returned to the co-organization for each participant that signs up!
- Every individual will receive a password to the videos on Vimeo for their online use for the length of the course.
- We will ship the signed copies of the study in bulk to the Co-Host for distribution to its participants via USPS. All study text is also available online via the Economics in the Gospels blog. A Kindle version is also available separately on Amazon.
- Zoom accounts and group meetings are arranged separately by each Co-Host and its participants.
Co-Hosted study groups work like this:
- About 15 minutes before the class the Co-Host opens its own Zoom meeting room (Each co-host group sets up its own Zoom meetings.)
- Each group and class is self-administered.
- Someone will need to be assigned to run the video for each class. It really is easy.
- Steve Richards will make himself available for 5-10 minutes at the beginning of each class for which he's invited. He is happy to provide a quick intro for the night's course, Q&A for the previous class, or whatever else you might want to discuss. Give him a try!
- Each group then leads itself in their own private Zoom meeting with the online class materials (video and study text are all online). Group discussions amongst the individual co-host group participants are encouraged. Group leaders will receive a brief 15-minute training session to learn how to conduct the sessions.
- Total time should average about 90 minutes in total.
- Then see you next week for the next class.
- Optionally some restaurants in your area provide dinners before class with delivery and fundraising opportunities!
