PREMIERE SCREENING
We had our premiere screening in Boston on September 11th. Even though the Patriots were kicking off just as we began screening the film, we still had a crowd of 50 or so supporters of the Ukrainian cause, seeing the film for the first time with great food provided by the parish. We also live streamed the event on Facebook Live to those in the film in Ukraine and our friends both in the USA and internationally, including out-of-town parishioners.
“The documentary's texture presents the horror, terror, and yes? hope without showing the gore of war. The generosity of spirit links all people of all walks and daily life…– Roma Hayda, Providence, RI

Raising Awareness While Raising Funds
Trek to Bucha screenings are as much about raising funds for the cause as well as awareness. In the end Boston generated close to $1,400 from close to 50 attendees, netting close to $900 which was split between TheoEco and Ukraine Forward.
"Thank you again for your brave effort and personal commitment to produce the documentary film about the war in Ukraine. Your documentary film will be part of the recorded history about the sacrifice and heroism of the Ukrainian people in defending their freedom, dignity, and sovereignty."
